The sun is shining, the evenings are getting longer and, to top it all off, we’ve got Paddy’s Day to look forward to on Thursday (and a 4-day week)!  Okay, so it’s not quite shorts and sandals weather yet, but here at Budget Bus we’re just full of the joys of spring and, quite frankly, we’re even more excited by the prospect of a long hot summer (well, one can but dream)!  For us, St. Patrick’s Day seems to mark the true shift from the long dreary days and nights of winter, and the bright weather we’ve been enjoying for the last few weeks has really helped to put a spring (sorry) in our steps! This year, we’re going to celebrate our Irish heritage with gusto and, to help us along, there are plenty of gigs, films, parades and parties taking place across the capital in the next few days. Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival kicks off tomorrow and runs until 20th March, so why not get involved in the festivities this year and enjoy some traditional Irish ceoil, cultúir agus craic (that’s music, culture and fun to any non-Irish speakers!) in the city centre. There’s  something for everyone, so check out the full event line up here! And, of course, as the weather continues to brighten, now is the time to start planning your summer.
