Sending Love to London

As the world was greeted this morning with yet more images of burning buildings, looting and mindless violence in London, initial reactions of shock and incredulity are beginning to make way for anger and defiance as the big clean up begins. The riots that have taken place in the UK over the past three nights are nothing short of inexcusable. Perpetrated by yobs and exacerbated by modern day social media, the London riots have already caused damage in the tens of millions of pounds. Fortunately, it is the same social media which is today being used to spread the clean up message and thousands of Twitter users, including high profile celebrities such as Wayne Rooney, Jessie J and Piers Morgan, have taken to the micro blogging site to condemn the violence. Here at Budget Bus, we would like to extend our best wishes to any friends and colleagues who have been affected by the three days of rioting, which we hope will not continue into the week.
